This project has been named "translucent" because of each testimony's tendency to be transparent and vulnerable, while shedding light on overlooked issues within the realm of body image and insecurities.
About the Curator
J. Faith Malicdem is a freshman journalism student at Emerson College who has conducted research on the matter of body image, insecurities, and self-image among college-aged adults for her Introduction to Research Writing Class. She hopes to further acknowledge the body positivity discussion by continuing to interview and highlight firsthand accounts and testimonies of growing into one's own skin.
